| Lucky Dog Rescue - Scottsdale Arizona |
|
Lucky Dog Rescue, based out of Scottsdale, Arizona, has some lovable barkers up for adoption! You'll come across some of their cuties as you go through our site; just look under the "Looking for Love" category.
In each profile you'll find detailed information both about the pup available for adoption as well as who to contact if the pooch has stolen your heart :)
Here is some information provided by Lucky Dog Rescue:
Fostering and Volunteering
Lucky Dog Rescue (formerly named Dalmatian Station) is a very active rescue group, and we are always looking for volunteers and foster homes to help us save more homeless dogs! By opening your home short term (many get adopted in less than a month) many more can be saved, since they just need a short term stopover before finding permanent homes. Without foster homes, many languish and end up euthanized at the shelters, simply for lack of a place to stay during the transition period. Right now we especially need volunteers to help with dog walking/socializing at the boarding facilities we use in Tempe and Scottsdale. Please help our kenneled dogs get some attention, love and play time!
Who We Are
Lucky Dog Rescue came into existence after one individual started saving one Dalmatian at a time back in late March of 2004. We are now a growing group of spotted dog lovers and all breed dog lovers, helping homeless Dalmatians and other breeds all over the state!! Opening up your home to a foster dog is rewarding and fun! And it's usually short term - most get adopted in less than a month's time. We need help with dog walking, transporting to vet visits, fundraising, shelter walkers, printing, photocopying and many other duties. Design a volunteer job to fit your interests!
Adopting a friend
We require an adoption application, interview and a home check before placing a dog. Adoption fees vary by age and health status. Please see our website at www.LuckyDogRescue.org for more information on fees and the adoption process.

NOTE: We are not a shelter and the address listed below is a post office box. All of our dogs are in foster homes throughout the valley or in boarding facilities who are partnering with us.
